It started with a simple thought on the course: if the glove is already on your hand for every swing, why not make it do more?

We saw the glove as the perfect place for technology. We are developing a small sensor that sits inside the glove and tracks your game, from swing speed and tempo to shot distance and fairways hit. The sensor can easily be moved from one Alvare glove to another, without changing how the glove feels.

Then came another thought: why do so many golf gloves look the same?

We wanted to bring more personality to the game. Different designs and gloves that stand out, while still focusing on the materials, fit and performance that matter. Even our simplest designs are made to have their own identity — so when you see the glove, you know it’s Alvare.

That’s the idea behind Alvare: making the golf glove smarter and giving players something different to wear.
