It started with a simple idea: golf gloves didn’t have to all look the same.

We wanted to create gloves that feel great to play in, while bringing more personality and variety to a part of golf that has stayed largely unchanged.

But the glove also gave us an opportunity to do something more. It is already part of every swing, making it a natural place for technology.

We developed a small sensor designed to work with the glove and collect data from every swing. It measures things like swing speed and tempo, while GPS helps track shot distances, accuracy and where each shot is played from.

The sensor is designed to stay small and unnoticeable during play. It can also be moved from one Alvare glove to another, so the technology doesn’t have to change the way the glove feels.

Our goal is to combine a great golf glove with useful data that helps players understand their game better — without adding another device to think about.
